We opened in 2012 in Senaga, Tomigusuku City, Okinawa, as a specialist maker and seller of trailer homes.
I have worked with trailer homes for over 15 years. I visited manufacturing plants and studied the reality of trailer homes in the United States, Canada, Australia, Vietnam, Korea, China and elsewhere, focused on what trailer homes should be in Japan and on the demand here, and ultimately moved into manufacturing our own.
Park Homes Okinawa aims to spread trailer homes primarily across the Amami Islands, the Okinawa Islands, Miyakojima and Ishigakijima,
and as the only manufacturer and seller in this region we have kept striving to meet our customers' needs while contributing to society.
Glamping and camping sites are now spreading across the prefecture, and demand for trailer homes is growing with them.
That makes consultation and coordination with the authorities essential, and puts the safety and durability of trailer homes under scrutiny.
Our original trailer homes are built for Okinawa's distinctive subtropical climate — resistant to super typhoons, termites, salt damage and high humidity — and we put real effort into making them well designed too. We are confident in every aspect.
Going forward we will expand facilities built around trailer homes, develop units that serve Okinawa's tourism industry and work in disasters, and build new lifestyles around trailer homes — aiming to be a company watched closely at the forefront of this industry.
